Coach Tina

Hey everyone! My name is Tina. I am a certified Personal Training Specialist with CanFitPro and an Elite Trainer at Project Rise in Mississauga. I specialize in Women’s Fitness and have extensive experience in training women of all ages, body types, and fitness levels.

As a Coach, I promote a holistic approach to health and fitness that encompasses all aspects of the human condition – mind, body and soul. For me, being fit is as much about looking great and feeling confident on the outside, as it is about feeling healthy and vigorous on the inside.

My goal as a Coach is to help each client achieve their fitness goals, overcome personal barriers and, most importantly, empower them with the tools required to make health and fitness a long-term, sustainable lifestyle change.

My training style incorporates various techniques including functional training, resistance training, high-intensity interval training, plyometrics and flexibility. I avoid sticking to a specific style in order to keep workouts fun, challenging, and effective, and most importantly, to avoid plateaus and keep my clients progressing.

I decided to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer because it is my passion and I want to share my passion and knowledge with other women in order to help them achieve their own health and fitness goals, and transform their lives overall. Prior to starting my own fitness journey, I was not a highly confident person. I never felt secure in my own body. Fitness not only transformed my body aesthetically but also brought me outside my shell and gave me a whole new perspective and mindset towards myself and life in general.
