Hey guys! My name is Asha Maharaj and I am a Coach at Project RISE. Fitness to me isn’t just about aesthetics – it’s about making the effort towards your self care and pushing yourself far beyond your limits! When I first started working out, my “end goal” was simply to look good. But as time went on I realized it wasn’t about just looking good, it was more about feeling good! Once I started my fitness journey – I wanted more. The more I stepped out of my comfort zone…the more I wanted to do things that I feared. Through my journey, boxing and calisthenics have made a huge impact in my life. As a trainer, my goal is to continue growing so that I am at my very best for the people that put their trust in me to help them reach their goals. I found myself through fitness, and I want nothing more but to share my knowledge and help others make that same change in their life.
